Something to remember...

... in one year from this date I'll take a look back at the small struggles we've encountered during our first time in the city of London:

Using a nailfile to open up our wine bottle at our hotel room / / / Living without a functioning fridge for the 1st month / / / Moving into a flat without electricity, broken shower, kitchen table, dishwasher and washing machine / / / Walking the streets of London, handing out beetween 100-200 CV's in a desperate need for a job / / / Driving several times from New Cross to Kilburn, getting lost on the way, and getting the to know the city a little bit more / / / Attending a trial day at Ripley's Believe It Or Not, convinced I'd get the job, then getting reality's blow in the face: a NO ( face it: you have to try 100 times to get a job) / / / Having to stay indoors because of the snow / / / Phoning my Norwegian bank a whole day just to get an overdraft on my debit card in order to be able to pay my rent / / / Eating cellery in a stupid attempt to quit smoking
